There's nothing quite as cool-looking(temperaturewise) as BLUE flowers. I grew Phacelia a few years ago, best blue i ever saw, next to cornflowers. The bell-shaped blue flowers with icy-white anthers were beautiful, and stirred up images of cooler weather. They do have a short bloom time, hot weather just about stops the show, cutting back helps somewhat. Give 'em a try, i believe there are 2 or 3 varieties. Good luck, and enjoy.

I also bought book 5 or whatever it is of the Outlander Series...and book one. Only read the first one and need to find the books in between now. I can't remember any others. I think I'll make a list this year of the books I've read, just to see how many I do read in a year. I used to read a lot more before I became a nurse. I think I got burned out on reading textbooks during school. lol.

I couldn't remember mentioning how expensive the trip was, and then I realized you wrote "exTensive". :-) Regardless, it was both all encompassing and all depleting and we probably won't be doing any more big travel for a while. Ahhh, thanks Flamey. I missed you and Gravey too. Maybe I'll go domestic next year and visit AR. Even though you're way out in the boondocks, it's got to be easier to get to than SE Asia.
