Hands down, the avent Isis...

For regular everyday heavy usage, love my Medela double electric pump.

If for occasional use, I would go with the manual Advent Isis. For pumping every day, such as at work, I would definitely go with the Medela Pump in Style. I used mine for a year at work to pump about 5 times a day. It is awesome!! You can double pump, it is fast (about 10 minutes to pump both sides), it is quiet, and comes in a stylish carrying case that just looks like a big purse. You can also get a cigarrette adaptor so you can use it in the car too. May sound crazy now, but there are MANY women who do this.

The Isis, also. I used it regularly/daily, and had no problems with it. I actually bought a Medela Pump and Go, and it was inefficient and painful, and didn't produce anything near the Isis. I realize that I'm probably in the minority on this, but I hated the Medela, and their customer service stank.

Wow, Kara that is wild about Medela. I am not familiar with the Pump and Go, but I have heard nothing but great things about them until your post. After using my Pump in Style for 11 months one of the parts started to wear, so I called Medela. They sent me a brand new pump!! I thought that was pretty cool. It had a 12 month warranty, but I never expected they would go so far to correct the issue since it was still usable.

I tried the Avent Isis, and it worked great the first few times I used it, but as my milk supply really came in(meaning my boobs got really big) it no longer worked for me AT ALL! I just got the Purely Yours electric pump by Hollister. It was highly recommended by the lactation consultants at the hospital where I delivered. It works great, runs on electric or AA batteries(I sometimes have to pump in the car on my lunch hour) and it was $60 cheaper than the medela pump. JacksMom
