| Just got this from my MIL and thought I would share it with the rest of you - Happy Holidays!

25 WAYS WE'RE DIFFERENT THIS CHRISTMAS 1. Last Christmas we were thinking about all the things we didn't have.
2. Last Christmas we were placing wreaths on the doors of our homes.
3. Last Christmas we were letting our sons play with toy guns.
4. Last Christmas we were counting our money.
5. Last Christmas we were lighting candles to decorate.
6. Last Christmas we paid lip service to the real meaning of the

8. Last Christmas we were trying not to let annoying relatives get the

12. Last Christmas we were getting on one another's nerves.
13. Last Christmas we were giving thanks for gifts from stores.
14. Last Christmas we were wondering how to give our children all the

17. Last Christmas we were thinking how good it would feel to be

21. Last Christmas we were sharing / spreading / listening to gossip.
22. Last Christmas we were complaining about how much of our earnings
23. Last Christmas we valued things that were costly.
24. Last Christmas the people we idolized wore sports uniforms.
25. Last Christmas peace on earth was something we prayed for on Sunday

| Really, I was thinking about most of those things *last* year as well. And I doubt that anyone who was a greedy, egotistic whiner a year ago will be magically transformed into a virtuous saint just because some terrorists attacked us. Unfortunately, everyone I know who was like that last Christmas still is. |

| It's sad that it took 9/11 to get people to realize that toys aren't guns. Looks like us liberals aren't such nuts after all. |
