3. Last Christmas we were letting our sons play with toy guns.
This Christmas we are teaching them that guns are not toys.

This Christmas we are counting our blessings.

5. Last Christmas we were lighting candles to decorate.
This Christmas we are lighting candles to commemorate.

holidays.

courage to do so.

have an office.

And I doubt that anyone who was a greedy, egotistic whiner a year ago will be magically transformed into a virtuous saint just because some terrorists attacked us. Unfortunately, everyone I know who was like that last Christmas still is.
