How do I stop this?

This issue is not a major problem, but it's very annoying non the less, my son is 5 years old and has got in this habit of if I'm not looking at him,I'm not listening! I was playing army men with him and I'm setting up my guys, he says mommy, I say yes, he says mommy, I says yes, he grabs my face so I'm looking at him, mommy that guy goes there!
I've tried talking to him that he can't grab my face and I've told him even though I'm not looking at him I CAN STILL HEAR him, I've read stuff about kids wanting to see your expression if something is funny or to feel reassured that u like it too.
But it's like me looking at him saying yes so he knows I'm listening, and he can keep talking does not cut it sometimes, i guess I wonder about school. I don't want him yelling at the teacher because she is not looking at him! Lol.
I'm not sure what goes on at my ex's. I know he goes to daycare for that week, is he grabbing peoples faces there?! He is with me all day on my week. Should I talk to the daycare lady and see what his behaviors are there? My ex is sort of in the I'm not telling u anything mode. If I'm driving he wants me to turn around and look at him while he tells me about Spider-Man, is my ex looking at him while driving? I explain it not safe and I can't look at him right now, but I can hear him. Hopefully this starts sinking in before kindergarten lol.

I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. I don't think he would do that to people outside the family. It is probably just a phase and if you are playing with him how much trouble is it to look at him when he speaks. It's just good manners.

Two things came to my mind when reading your post.

Perhaps he needs an eye test, just to make sure it is not a sight problem.

Or

He may just feel a bit neglected because his mum and dad are not in the same place. He might feel insecure and is demanding your full attention because of that.

Spend lots of time with him, sitting talking and looking at him. That might make him feel more secure.

It is right for you to be concerned.

Smallfern, If your plants are only 10" high and you've got a worm in each plant, than I don't hold out much hope for your crop. If you tug gently on the center leaves and they stay put, then the stalk is still healthy. If the worms got to the core of the plant, you'll be able to slide the leaves out without any effort and you'll see the brown slimy remains of the rotting core. Good luck. Keep them as long as the cores are still healthy, and treat the heck out of them. PS, corn is 5/$1 at the grocery store right now.

I have the same issue and for a long time I could not figure out how the rain water is landing on top the car especially after I weather-stripped the top and sides of the door - until today when I just happened to open the garage door to clean the water mess on the car, the water came pouring through the sectionals of the door! Now it is simply not just the few drops of water that is the nuisance - if your car has some or lots of) dust the water drops create a messy look after the water drops on the car dry out - it looks really yucky on most cars and especially on a black car! If you want to go out and it is still raining, sure, the mess will be washed off but what if it is bone dry outside (sunny or not) - one is compelled to wash the mess off oneself or take the car to the car wash, unless one is ok with a messy looking car. This is quite annoying if this happens frequently as it does in the rainy season.

I agree. And as soon as you 'see' new ones, cut them off. Mine do not seem to regrow after I pull them out. Because they sometimes grow in unusual places, I suspect the birds are also helping propagate them. They eat the seeds and deposit them elsewhere for example. At first, I did not have any ROSs and then a few sprouted. The neighbors do not have any ROSs so birds may have delivered them. I finally added some ROSs that were sterile and those performed as expected.

if you want a consistent crop .. you are probably going to have to start.. in late winter.. a spray regimen ... else.. odds are.. year after year.. you will have some level of failure .. if you are in MI.. im surprised you didnt get hit by one of the hard frosts.. or the freeze ... and there aint no spray for that .. lol ... the multiple yearly sprayings.. is one reason i quit playing around with hobby fruit trees ... ken junkie.. how did you know he was in MI??? .. more secret stuff i cant see .. lol ... https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Michigan+State+extension+peach+problems%3B&t=ffcm&iax=images&ia=images
