| I'm not sure what you're referring to. Usually a statute of limitation refers to the amount of time that can elapse between commission of a crime and initiation of legal procedures. It varies depending upon the seriousness of the crime. For a misdemeanor it might be three years. For a heinous crime like murder there is no statute of limitations. Do you mean the age at which child support ends? That can vary from state-to-state and depending upon the individual divorce agreement.
