13 year old child is a FATHER! (Article link w/ pics)
Comments (11)Thirteen year old boys becoming fathers, is not big news around where I live. The difference is the attitude. Many teenage boys think it's "cool" to become a father and a status symbol, and since they are living on welfare and grew up with it, they know that the baby will get benefits too. According to this article the boy did not plan the pregnancy with the girl and none of the quotes from the boy seem to indicate he is proud of this. I think this story made the news because the boy in this situation looks so young. Some boys that age are 6' tall and shave. I'm sure someone at the hospital tipped off the newspaper for a story with photos that is packed with all the shock value needed to sell those extra newspapers....See Moreold cat and young child
Comments (10)I had a persian himilayan cross who was just awful with children. She wasn't so bad until we had to give her away when we moved to a place that didn't take pets. When we had her however, she had other behaviour problems. She peed on anything plastic. Garbage bags, grocery bags etc. She was very anti-social and almost seemed depressed more often than not. We got her and another kitten from a very reputable breeder, my friend also got a kitten from the same littler, and only the one had any problems. When we gave her away, the lady eventually ended up having her put down. I'm not sure if she discussed with the vet what the problem was, or exhausted all of her options, but apparently the cat got very very possesive and very hostile. She 'stalked' her grandchildren like yours is doing to your daughter. She would hide out in corners of rooms, under tables/couches and anytime the children walked by, she would lunge and attach her self to them and scratch them like crazy. She did some pretty nasty damage. She hated other cats. She hated all animals and most people, save for me and the lady who took her. Did you have just your cat before you daughter arrived? No other animals or children around? Perhaps your cat is jealous because your daughter took away her attention in her eyes?? Did you get her as a kitten, or had she had previous owners with children?? My grandmother had a cat who she was given by someone else when it was about a year old. The other ladies children just tormented the cat. My grandmas cat never liked children her whole life. She'd hide anytime us kids came over, but was very loving and receptive of adults. She lived to be around 15 I think, and she never got over her fear of children. She'd hide and hiss and growl, and if we tried to go find her, she'd scratch us if we did find her. I hope the meds work, for you. Some cats I guess are just agressive in nature, and unfortunately yours seems to be moreso towards children. Hopefully you find a way to remedy it!...See MorePaying Child Support for a child thats living with you
Comments (14)Firemans wife, I wish you all the best. I am really debating on whether or not to make a web page with all this crap that's gone on for 7yrs now. See, I wasn't in the picture in 1995 when the kids were removed and my spouse was very lax about the CS thing. When I came in the picture in 1999 and they started taking out money AGAIN from his check (they'd stop and start CS over and over) we went to the office and he signed an affidavit so I could have access to his case. It wasn't until then that things started getting done. I like to think that if I had been around in 1995 this wouldn't have gone on for so long...but the fact remains that they (attorney general) had access to any and all court documents that were issued out of Montgomery county. They've had this all along but didn't bother to look into it. His file is literally 6inches thick. The attorney that represented the state of texas didn't even bother to crack the folder. Each time we went to court (4 times since Jan) there was a different attorney. I hope everything goes well for you but be prepared for anything to happen. We thought it was all over and done with...then the judge gave his ruling. I was suprised to say the least and so angry that when I got home I called all the newspapers and television stations. I've received 4 phone calls back from different different news stations that want to do investigative work. Oh...did I mention that I taped conversations when we went into the AG's office? Yup, got them talking in circles...saying one thing and doing another. We're still debating on whether or not to go with the television stations. I'm to the point where I'm so exhausted of living in the middle of all that mess and I really shouldn't even be posting about it because it just gets me all worked up again. The more I think about it, the more I think I'll scan our court documents and transcribe the recordings, make a web page and be done with it...that way it'll be out of my system for good and I can tell the entire world at one time without having to go back into that 'mode' I was in for so long when we were dealing with these incompetent morons....See Morechild’s bedroom help please
Comments (21)If your son sleeps in the crib, remove the bed and put the crib along the wall opposite the doors. If your son sleeps in the bed, remove the crib. If two children share the room, this layout may be the only option but you should downsize to a twin bed and remove the curtain & cord so your LO can't grab it from the crib. For nighttime feedings or bedtime stories, put a chair between the window and the wall bump-out (chimney?) and a small table under the window next to the chair. Attach a reading lamp to the wall above. The world map picture goes on the wall opposite the window. Since it's so colourful, I think any paint colour could work, but I'd opt for a soft shade to let the picture "pop". Maybe green or grey? If the trim and closet door still look as yellow as they do after the walls are painted, I'd repaint those a crisp white as well. White curtains and blind is fine to stick with, as long as it's safe for the LO. To me, the dark blue Toy Story bedding would compete with the dark blue picture. From the decor options shown by J Williams, I like the yellow & grey blanket, zebra rug, and striped laundry basket. Bold graphics but the colours don't overpower....See Moregaidin_new_rr_com
