EX DIL will not let my son see his son
Comments (3)They were never married. This was a verbal agreement. This is why a court order is now necessary. She states that she is the only one who can take care of the child. She is immature and causing our family unnecessary grief. She does not want him taking his son to birthday parties for his friends kids. She does not want him to stay in his Father's home. She has a list of don'ts. She examines the child every time he returns home from our home. Immature behavior is a very dangerous thing....See MoreMy son and his lovely girlfriend
Comments (26)You're right, Snidely, we traveled quite a bit with them when they were younger. They had been to Europe a couple of times, Hawaii, Alaska, and lot's of states in between. Mamatoad, no we haven't talked this weekend--I think he's quite busy and we won't be able to talk to them next weekend because they are going to Lisbon for their anniversary (2 years of dating). Chisue, he was home for Christmas for 9 days. Not nearly long enough. DD was home for 3 weeks. I am a blubbering fool when they leave:( Thanks, everyone, for the kind words and the birthday wishes...See MoreAn update about our friends' son and his miracle.
Comments (23)I just watched Sunday Morning with Jane Pauley; one of the reports was about a woman who had had two transplants! The first was when she was in her early 20s and a virus had destroyed her heart. This was quite some time ago and she suffered terribly with the medications she had to take. Her more recent transplant has been a totally different experience for her due to the improvements in medical science. Her donor was also a young athlete and this recipient runs in honor of her donor. It was amazing, did anyone else see it?...See MoreMy Partner is still worried about his ex wife and step son.
Comments (3)You are sad because your partner didn't react the way you wanted him to... and I can understand that. Sometimes people don't always act the way we want them to when they are under stress. It is normal for all of us to care about people from our past, especially if there was once a loving relationship, and even more so if a child is at risk. It's part of the Human Condition. (I guess I'd worry more if he didn't care.) Your partner probably doesn't know where to go with your feelings.... and so walked away. His caring about them doesn't mean he doesn't love you, just that he's a good man....See Moresweeby
