Otis Lennon test

| My first grader took the test to get into the gifted and talented program. I'm trying to find out more about his results. The test has verbal, non-verbal, and composite scores. The school focuses on the composite score. I'd like to know more about the specifics of the verbal and non-verbal areas. What is the highest score you can get in each area? I've tried doing a search, but I must be using the wrong keywords. Is anyone familiar with this test?
Thanks,

The test is most commonly referred to as OLSAT. In some states it is routinely administered to all 1st graders. As for scoring, that is based on age...the scores are adjusted for cronological age. It measures not what your child has learned but abstract thinking. Do a search using OLSAT and you will find lots of stuff. Linda C |
