Hey There,

Have not posted in YEARS! Glad to be back.

Well, Christmas is over, and I am gearing up for Valentine's Day. Any ideas?

Looking forward to "crafting with you."

Hi, Mary-Beth! I am new here. I don't know exactly what you are looking for, but I want to make some Valentine collages with copies of vintage photos. They will probably be decos or zap pages for my yahoo group trades...or a spread in an altered book or something.

Also, what I like doing for my grandchildren sometimes is to make strings of hearts (paper hearts taped together sandwich style on pink or red or white yarn) and hang them like a curtain in their doorways. I do it while they are sleeping, so that it is a surprise on Valentine's Day morning.

Everything does look delicious, and congratulations on that new love, Ricky. What did I do here? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Well, mostly, I did stop and buy my Mother her favorite white chocolate/raspberry coffee drink. Elery is prepping for a colonscopy and diet is limited for five days before, which never was required previously. Mother had an echocardiogram, I did tell her that it was fitting to have a heart test on Valentine's Day, LOL. And so it came and went without so much as a cupcake, or heart shaped food of any type. Well SO has thrown a wrench into my food plans. First, upon waking he declared himself too hungry to wait for me to cook breakfast, and asked me just to heat him up some leftovers. So there went my plan for that. He had chicken tacos. Not heart shaped. 😔 But I served it on a heart shaped plate,so I felt better about it. Then, he asked me to make him some fish that I bought for SOME OTHER DAY, not Valentines day,so i made it with some rice. He usually only eats 2 meals a day so not sure my plan for the heart shaped pizzas will happen. Well, it will happen for me, as I do not eat fish so I will make myself a heart shaped pizza later. I'll make him a smaller one in case he wants a snack later or something....

Kim, I did receive your catd today. Thankyou for the Shasta, zinnia , and morning glory seeds. Hopefully, they will be planted in Virginia. Our house has been on the market for a week. Four showings but no interest so far. Keep your fingers crossed.

A lot of 1/2 price ornaments could be used for Valentine's decorating. Lots of pink this year too.

Thanks Wanda. I'm kind of out of the card making except for Christmas. Not too many people to send them too. Maybe we could do an exchange here.

That would be fun. My 'cards' are usually postcards or paintings. I don't really do greeting cards, but a Valentine exchange would be fun, if I don't get overextended. Right now I am in a New Year's Year of the Dog postcard exchange, where I need to make 10, and a deco exchange (4) and a zap page exchange (6).

What a nice Valentine's Day site. I just took down all my Tree ornaments. I have one tree that is nothing but beaded ornaments. Now, tomorrow I have to find the boxes they go in in the garage. It has been very cold out there!!.
I'm putting up my valentine decor in a week or so since it will be over on the 14th of Feb.

I put all my cupids out at that time too,
