I hope this isn't heresy. To me, it's the three photos that throw everything off - in each of the shown arrangements. I'm a little torn on using two rounds, although staggered at different heights offset by the taller candles seems to mitigate that somewhat. I'd keep the clock in the middle and find something with bulk - a piece of crockery or a preserving jar or pottery piece to companion with the metal can. To my eye, you don't need much else. I think I'm looking for something bright too - like branches with orange or red berries (bittersweet or pyracantha or...) rather than the grass plumes.

I love that kitchen! And that rooster. I'm dangerously close to going overboard with the roosters. That granite looks a lot like mine, with the dark stained island that others were suggesting! I wish this kitchen had hardwood floors, then I could really see how it would all go together!! Great find! The pendant light is Chadwick by Landmark, 13" oil rubbed bronze pendant, from Destination Lighting.. It's on back order until July, but I bet you could find it somewhere else? I tried a quick google and struck out, but I think a little research would pay off. I just took this picture at the house: I know the lighting is bad because it's dark and stormy here, but I think the wall color goes with the granite well. Am I color blind? The other chip is the cabinet color and the wood is our future floor. Input on colors is so appreciated! Thanks for all the help already!

Yep..this is what I am painting! Actually my brother had this book back in the 70's and asked my friend (who is an artist) to paint it for him. Well she did such a fantastic job on it that I made a copy of it for myself. I did this back in 1985. I decided to make another copy of it for the art fair I am going to be participating in for May Fest. I wanted the photo to remember how vibrant the colors were. SamKaren your resident DJ
