maime, There is nothing wrong with feeling relief. Death is a new beginning, not an ending, part of the circle of life. I'm sure she is happy, now. My Grandmother used to tell me that life was death, and death was life. I miss her horribly still after 20+ years and very grateful that she is no longer suffering the way she had before she passed on. She will always be a very important part of my life, and my children's & Grandchildren's, who never had the pleasure of knowing her as I had. Her memories are alive in everything that I do or the choices I make and will make in the future. Because of her, I am who I am, and I thank her for that till this day!

I use an ink called ZimInk that gives a crisp perm image. I would think Staz On would be fine for the tile as many people use that for stamping on dominos and it's a semi slick surface. One thing she might try....stamp the image on beige tissue paper (can do many at a time) and tear out the image. Then use Mod Podge or Royal Coat or PPA and adhere the tissue to the tile...when dry it appears that the tissue is IN the tile surface especially if the tile is beige to begin with. There is a product made by Krylon called Workable Fixatif (spelled funny huh?).....Walmart carries it. It give a surface that separates many different applications. It would coat the surface so bleeding wouldn't happen. Several light coats would work.

Maryliz, You are going to love this. Have you heard of Linda Franz? You must go to her site and see her product "Inklingo." She is really into precision marking and hand stitching, so this new product of hers is exactly what you need. I have used it and can vouch for it. Essentially, you iron the right side of your fabric onto freezer paper as suggested above, then print the hexagons onto the fabric with almost any inkjet printer. Amazingly, most injet printer inks will wash right out of your fabric. Inklingo includes pages for various sizes of hexagons and prints a very thin cutting line and dashed stitching line including registration marks at centers and corners for exact matching. You choose the page you want to print on your fabric in the color that works best for your fabric and can choose whether to rotary cut or cut with scissors (that layout usually saves fabric). Her CDs also include diamonds, half square triangles, half hexes, etc. The various disk collections include various compatible sizes of the shapes. I am not affiliated, trust me, I've spent my money with her and am anxious to get the latest book and CD. I recently participated in a swap of hexagons using Inklingo so I have used it and absolutely love the results. Does anyone know and use any trust worthy web sites to purchase stamp supplies such as ink pads at a good price? I don't do too much internet shopping but I'm finding all my local stores have the same products forever. I want new stuff!
