I was aware of the antifreeze danger, but not about the crystals. I knew it shut down their kidneys. We had an evil neighbor once who killed all the neighborhood cats with antifreeze. He hated cats. We had a couple who fell victim to his tricks, but then we got the police involved, because he was overheard by another neighbor telling me "He!! yeah, I killed your cat, and I'll kill any da**ed cat that comes in my yard!" With that and a vet's statement that my cat had died of antifreeze poisoning, they got a warrant, and staked out his yard from my parent's back yard. They caught him red handed pouring antifreeze into a bowl and putting it on the back porch. The idiot then was brazen enough to say "that'll take care of that little bi**h's cats once and for all", probably meaning he had killed two of our three cats. They arrested him right there and then. I hate to say it, but I was happy when he died. And you know what? He died of kidney failure. Strange justice, huh?

Judith--you a tomboy! I just can't believe that-- everything you decorate has such a feminine, romantic feel to it. I'm finding it interesting that everyone of us are really attracted to pink--and to creative decorating. Wonder if there is a connection? Probably not. I love seeing pics of pink in rooms, started subscribing to Romantic Homes magazine because of all the pink rooms--now they changed it allot and are doing more European things--I probably won't renew. I try to keep most of my "pink" things in my guest bedroom and some in the living/dining room--rest of the house doesn't get any pink. Want DH to feel comfortable too, and we are from the generation that grew up with the pink for girls, blue for boys idea. However, DH has worn pink shirts--and looks wonderful in pink! Was so happy to have a little GD and bought lots of those darling pink outfits. However, she seems to prefer yellow--and many of those outfits are really cute too. ;o) Pattycakes, I've had ladies tell me that same thing--their kids don't give a hoot about their prized collectibles or dishware. Often a grandchild or a niece will be the one to fall in love with them. Then other times, it is just a matter of the child reaching an age where they do appreciate the things, don't you think? Luvs
