I haven't tried that color yet, but I have read that it really appears white. You might try some shades darker like stone Harbor 2111-50. It is great for hallways as well.

How gray it appears is going to largely depend on the color of your trim. There is no such thing as "just white". :)

We just used SW On the Rocks. It's a calm gray.
