Prime when changing sheens?

I usually hang out in the kitchen forum, but thought I would get the experts' advice here regarding a paint change.

We are changing colors in our great room/kitchen (from BM Yorkshire tan to Revere Pewter, if that helps). The current tan color and new Revere Pewter appear to be approximately the same darkness level/depth in the space (not sure I'm wording this correctly, but they don't appear to be vastly different iykwim). However, we are going from a shinier "pearl" sheen to an eggshell finish. I have never primed previously painted walls with BM paints, just cleaned and applied 2 coats with no problems. Wondering whether switching sheens will require priming?

Many thanks in advance.
