What color to paint the ceilings with Kilim Beige

Getting ready to paint the living room and dining room. They are open to each other so they will have to be the same color. Living room is about 20'X 14' and dining about 14'x 14'. The walls are going to be S/W Kilim Beige 6106. What would look nice for a color on the ceiling. There is a large bay window facing South with lots of light coming in. Also the ceilings are small popcorn texture.

Im leaning more toward white like christopern says. Christophern Would you do the standard S/W ceiling white or would you tint it just a tad? Im thinking a pure white 7005. The girl painting thinks I should go with alabaster 7008. I dont want to tint too much and have it look dirty.

Paint the ceiling the same color as the wall. I'm starting to see that a lot lately in the newer homes. It looks really nice. Do you have crown molding? If so, what color is it?

Another white recommendation here. Guess I just think ceilings should be.

We actually have Kilim Beige in our LR and DR, with 12 foot ceilings. Plenty of daytime light via windows but after dark I believe a white ceilings helps illuminate the room.

What about a very light blue color? I will have Softened Green SW 6177, and SW 6127 Ivoire & SW 6128 Blonde. We were looking at SW 6490 Timid Blue, SW 6497 Blue Horizon, SW 6504 SKy High, or SW6777 Carefree for our ceilings. Entry and Family room have 25 foot ceilings and the rest of the house will have 10 foot ceilings. What do you guys think about this?

I painted it with Alabaster 7008 and it went on whiter than what was already there. I painted it the last time and I'm sure it was painted with ceiling white. I used to smoke thou and that probably turned the ceilings a dirty white. I didnt realise how gray they were until the fresh coat went on.
