| We're getting ready to have our cabinets painted in BM Aura; they will be professionally sprayed. The sample Aura semi-gloss doors we got look great---but they're very shiny. The trim in our house is all BM oil-based Satin Impervo, and has less of a sheen, which I like.
Would going with Aura Satin be a good option here? A Google search of the two turned up some people unhappy with the Satin finish, but no concerns on the semi-gloss---and we don't have time to have another sample door painted (though we can definitely go get a paint sample from BM directly). Primary concerns are 1) durability, 2) easy-to-clean, and 3) looks---level, doesn't show too many scratches, etc. Brush strokes aren't much of an issue since they're being sprayed, but a finish that is not going to be awful to touch up would be a plus. Thoughts on Aura satin in this context? Should we just stick with the semi-gloss and get used to the shine? Thanks! |

| Durability will be the same - go with the finish you prefer. |
