Hi-
My daughters room is BM Queen Ann Pink and it is a very pretty, not pepto pink. She wants is repainted, but I am attached to the color, very pretty.

I made a horrible mistake with pink several years ago. After two or 3 poor choices, I used 1/4 part pink from a chip that was soft and pretty - very light. Then I mixed 1 part of the pink color to 3 of white. It looked too white on the first wall and I was promised it would work out from a designer frined of mine. After the 4th wall - and the light color bouncing off all walls, it WAS perfect. It was soft like a light baby pink. I tried just using a chip color and it was like triple the color after doing the entire room!

Benjamin Moore Old Country OC-76 might work for you.

I'm going to be doing something similar to kellykath for our little girls' room. They want pink, but like you I was afraid of the pepto look. I started with a sample of SW Lighthearted Pink, because it perfectly matched a light pink in the girls' quilts. Then, at the advice on this board I toned the color down with white(SW Dover White, since that's what I had on hand) to get it to a just right lighter shade. That way it's the same color family to match the bedding, but it's nice and soft, just a gentle pop of color on the walls without looking pepto at all. Maybe that could work for you too.:-) Good luck!
