Oil based over spray in my house

Please help. The painter sprayed the interior of the addition and did not seal off the other parts of our house very well. We have a fine mist of paint all over every surface in the adjoining laundry room. My antique bread bowl (100+ years old). our toaster, salad spinner, Kentile floor, washer and dryer, all countertops, cabinets, walls and lights are all covered with a fine mist of oil based paint. What to do? We wiped the old bowl down with turpentine as best we could but I am so concerned. What were they thinking? What is the solution? What is reasonable to ask? These are not bad people but I am appalled. How to clean off dried oil based paint? Suggestions please.

Contact your insurance agent and have your agent contact the painter's agent and devise a removal plan that will work without causing damage to items.
