Painting doors.

I recently moved into my first home. I used Pittsburgh Paints Grand Distinction Interior Latex Semi-Gloss Enamel Paint for my baseboards as they were all new and only primed when I moved in. The trim around the door and the doors themselves are already painted and "slick" feeling. The doors are an off white and very dinged up so I need to repaint them to match the trim. Do I need to prime these first? Sand them? I have 8 6-panel doors to paint front and back, and my front door that I only need to paint one side of. I asked someone at 2 different big box stores and they told me due to it being an enamel paint I could just paint over without priming. I do have some Zinsser primer that I could use if need be.

Thank you!
