Can you reduce the shine on a varnished wood (white washed pine) ceiling without having to completely re-do and start over? I simply can't afford the $ nor the stress as the furniture plus some is being stored in this room while an addition is being built.
Just not happy with the results. This is a beach house and 'shiny' just doesn't go.

Can anyone advise please?
