| My mother in law is moving into a new house and we are torn on what color to paint the guest bedroom. The link is to a picture of her guest bedroom at her current house (walls are BM Linen White). The bedding is a charcoal grey with a tan/khaki diamond pattern print and she has a beautiful cream-colored bedspread(picture doesn't do it justice).
The new house will have similar color molding but only one window (desk/chair will not be in the new room). The floors will be a natural maple hardwood with some sort of throw rug, color TBD depending on paint. My dilema is painting the walls a color where we won't lose the woodwork but will still make the bed pop. I definatly want a noticeable color on the wall, not something that appears white/off white. Any suggestions? |
