Simply white not matching

I am finally at the end of a long kitchen ordeal. But, here is my new problem. My cabinets, trim, bead board everything except the walls and counters are BM simply white. Majority of the trim, doors, windows and cabinet bases were painted in may or June. The cabinets faces about a month ago. They are now painting my crown above the cabinets and my baseboards and touching up. Everything new looks super white against the old.

Is this because it's oil and it will yellow a bit? Will it even out. They only put one coat on would a second coat help? Any advise would be helpful.

White alkyd doesn't age and yellow that fast. However, it is cured. Please be patient and allow the new paint to cure a few months and then compare.

Have a written agreement with painter to make corrections if a match isn't achieved in the next few months.

Are they the same BM line? I don't know about white, but the bases used to create the colors vary by line, e.g., Aura is different than Regal. This is a Hugh, but subtle, issue with colors, so it is woth checking.

Aura is different from everything, it has it's own unique tinting system

The OP did mention it's "oil".
