A pale cream, matching the tile, would work well.

What hits me is the large brown box of the back of the island. The cabinets are rustic and knotted and it's very uniform and almost looks painted. Painting that top match the walls would lighten that area.

I think maybe SW Creamy. But I think it would also look good if you leave the window sill white, use white socket covers, and paint the wall white. But that's just because it looks like the sink is white.

I just took the tile sample for a paint match and it's Manchester Tan...not sure if I should match it or go a little darker?

@Lazygardens the backing on the island bothered me too from the day they put it in, my plans was to wait until the bar stools are there and see if it's as noticeable
