Do I need a second coat of primer?

Yesterday I painted over eggshell/pale gold acrylic paint that is at least 10 years old. I used Killz 2 latex primer and it now looks light grey in some areas. The wall seemed to soak the paint up and I went over some places a second time the the roller, but the ceiling and some wall area is very streaked.

I was wondering if it needs a second coat before I apply the colored paint.

Not really, especially if you plan on applying two coats of finish.
