| Daughter bought a very old wood dining table.Stripped the finish and restained,now we need to know what to put over this. She wants to use the table as an everyday table so what do we put on it to old up against watermarks or anything else? |

| My favorite finish is General Finishes' polyurethane gel top coat. It wipes on. Several thin coats should have the table suitable for dining use. |
