Which paintable caulk is best in this environment?

Posted by kathec (My Page) on

I just peeled full strings of dried up old caulk from the interior of my windows where the window frame meets the drywall. I am repainting, so need a paintable caulk, but I notice I have moisture in that area. Would a kitchen & bath caulk designed for wet areas be better than standard paintable caulk?

Any specific brand?

Thanks.

If you have moisture on the interior window frames, you really need to deal with that problem and not worry about chalk at this point. Get the moisture problem fixed first, that is your real problem.
