I need to paint some iron railing on a house. There is currently small rust spots here and there and the original paint (only about 5 years old) is fading grey from black. I need to paint it flat black. After I sand away the rust, what would be the recommended process? We want to repaint with a flat black. What would be the best type of paint? (Oil, latex, other?) Thanks!
