| My kitchen backsplash is mosaic tile that looks more like brick than ceramic - very textured and porous. I painted it matte white and it looks good but I now want to apply something that will give it a soft sheen. I didn't use satin paint because I want the grout to stay matte. Any ideas what would work? Maybe paste wax? I could just lightly rub that on the tiles with a finger and avoid the grout. Thanks for any suggestions. |

| Hello lyn_dee, My name is Christine and I’m a paint associate at The Home Depot in Atlanta. You have the right idea with the paste wax! It is going to be a perfect fit for this project. The paste wax will leave a satin finish. You may want to use a lint free rag, or old t-shirt to apply it so you don’t get too messy. It will be hard work, but it will look beautiful! Good luck and let me know how I can assist you further. Christine |
