help! family room paint color

Anyone have suggestions for what color to paint the walls of my family room? Having a hard time tying in a paint color with white wainscoting and mantel, brick fireplace and pinky-red Heriz rug. Should I repaint the mantel too?
I'd be grateful for any suggestions!
