Hi,
Getting colder by the day and we're still waiting for the painters to start painting. They are completing the prep tomorrow and have said they will paint the next day if it doesn't rain, but it's been in the 40's at night and we're afraid it may be too cold to paint. ......any comments here ?

You're OK.....IF....IF...the paint can dry 3-5 hours BEFORE it gets down to the upper 40's.

This is also assuming the SURFACE ITSELF is above 50 degrees...AND DRY...NO DEW present.

Watch your forecast/dewpoints carefully!!
