primer accident

A painter got some primer on some trim that didn't need painting while painting the exterior of our house. It isn't very noticeable so I wasn't sure if it needed to be removed. If we leave the primer on there, will the primer change in color or appearance over time?

RE: primer accident

If you paid a painter to paint your home and he dripped primer on the trim, he should be providing options to you about whether he is going to remove it, paint over it, etc. What has he said to you? Just living with his mistake doesn't seem to be a good choice.
