Color of Paint

I Finally want to paint my house and I don't have a clue what would be a great colors for my foyer and my entire downstairs area. When you enter my home everything is a few feet away from each other. So I am assuming I should do all the room the same colors. (foyer, formal living, formal dining, den, and kitchen) Or and what paint brand is the best?

You've got to start looking at magazines and/or websites and get some inspirations. The furniture and window treatments you have would be a starting point. Is your trim white or wood?

All the rooms absolutely do NOT need to be the same colors, but some theme should emerge. Coordinating shades, or different muted earthtones. Maybe the front rooms could be the same and the rear could be slightly darker or lighter or some color that coordinates.

My favorite is Benjamin Moore, but everybody has their favorites. I like the Aura line and the Regal line.
