Trim color a lighter shade of wall?

I have walls done in Light Pewter. I was thinking of what to do with the trim and I was thinking of doing some shade between Light Pewter and white.

The light Pewter is the lightest shade of that color in Benjamin Moore's dial. How do I consistently lighten it? Anyone have any feedback on this idea or how I do it?

Get a sample of BM White Dove OC-17 and try that.

Take the formula to the BM dealer and ask them to mix it with 50% of the colorant.
