| I am recessing a mirror with a painted wooden frame above my bathroom vanity. The painter says it needs to be caulked all around to look seamlessly built-in. Is there something I can put on the mirror frame (silver metallic paint) now that will make it easier to remove the caulk without damage to the painted finish if I want to remove the mirror later on? Maybe some kind of acrylic varnish? I even wondered about petroleum jelly or candle wax. Thanks for any suggestions! |

| Are you sure he isn't talking about caulking the gap between the wall and the frame? I can't imagine the gap between the mirror and the frame actually being a problem. I would leave that gap alone. |
