paint advice

I am looking for a paint for living dining room with mostly gold, little brown and red, upholstery. I need something a little lighter but not stark as there is little light in the room and the floors are cherry. I have been looking at Montgomery White by Benjamin Moore but am worried it might look pink. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
