Prepping new ceiling for painting

We just had the popcorn ceiling in our kitchen/family room removed. Instead of taking the old popcorn down via the "wet method" the workers instead scraped it dry and then applied three skim coats of drywall mud (with some light sanding).

The ceiling looks great and we're now ready to prime and paint. They told us that the generic Swiffer-type floor cloths (bought at the Dollar store) are good at removing any sanding dust on the ceiling, but do we need to do any other special prep before applying the primer?
