| I am starting to get my plans together to start painting our kitchen cabinets and had a few questions.
First, paint. I am going back and forth between BM Waterborne Satin Impervo, SW Pro Classic, and Insl-X Cabinet Coat. Unfortunately the one I would prefer to use (Cabinet Coat) I don't think will work since we want to do a darker color. Are there any others I should consider? Can the BM or the SW be colormatched? I am wanting to use a Martha Stewart color (Ocean Floor). Second, primer. I'm hearing good things about BM STIX primer. What about BIN, Bull's Eye, Kilz? Lastly, deglosser/degreaser. I have heard NOT to use TSP because of adhesion issues later on. What is recommended? Thanks for your help. |

| 1) paint choice, any of them will work and can be matched,( don't know about CC but cannot imagine why not) 2)Bin, over kill, Kilz, NO( not a good bonding primer) 3)Tsp is fine IF you wash off the residue 2 or 3 times, Dirtex work well |

| I used Insl-X over BIN. Prime, sand with 200, paint 1 coat, sand with 200, paint again. Will look like you sprayed it. |
