Hi all!

I'm a DIY'r but not an interior decorator. I'm doing an old farmhouse, it has real pine floors, doors, and frames. I'm painting the bedrooms a muted-off white (twinge of yellow) in eggshell. I'm staining light honey color & polyurethaning the floors a satin finish.

For the window trim & baseboards from what I read it would be a good move to up the finish to a semi-gloss, would you think it would be better to use the same color off white or move to a purer and brighter white to accentuate the details?

Also, do you think it would look odd to refinish the doors natural without doing the window trim natural? I was thinking of refinishing the doors to match the floors but then I feel like that might look odd with white trim.

Any thoughts?
