Kitchen wall colour help! White cabinets and faux-wood melamine..

We have purchased a house with an 80's kitchen and plan to have the cabinets painted. Unfortunately, we won't be able to afford a new countertop for a few years, so I have to live with it!

Cabinet colour: Benjamin Moore Mayonnaise

Countertops: faux-wood melamine (like this: http://uglyhousephotos.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/phx80skitchen1985b.jpg )

Floors: simple white & beige linoleum (for now...)

I love blues, like Smokey Green CC-700, but am open to other colours!
