Wood walls, semi-transparent look

Posted by bobbie46 (My Page) on

I am trying to paint a wooden wall in my daughter's kitchen. We removed the old paper and cheesecloth and now have nice pine horizontal boards. I thought a whitewashed look woud be nice but don't see much info on how to do that. We could just prime and paint but I think showing some of the grain of the wood would be nice. Suggestions?
