We are building a new house and I want to re-purpose some old and some new wicker/rattan pieces. We are doing a tropical beach house type theme. I am thinking about using the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, and then aging with the dark wax. Does anyone have any experience with painting this type of furniture with chalk paint or any other type of paint? I do not want it to look shiny and new... more of white washed, sun and wind worn...
I have tried many times to upload a pic of the pieces. It keeps telling me it is larger than 5000K I have changed the pixels down to 200 (smaller than the "small" at 640), but it still won't upload. grrrr.
