| We have just bought a house and the metal awning and plastic shutters need painting. We will be using a sprayer and need to know what kind of paint to use. Any hints would also be appreciated too!!! |

| Decide what brand you are going to use and then go to that local paint store and let them advise you on products, process and tips for using the product they recommend in the specific sprayer you are using. Take a shutter with you, take a small awning with you - seriously sounds like a PITA but if at all possible do it. My tip is unless you have the original manufacturer color specs for both the awning and the shutter, do not choose colors for the repaint that are darker than the original colors. Because bad stuff happens when you paint exterior architectural elements darker paint colors than the manufacturer intended. |
