We live in Massachusetts and have a pressure treated pine deck located in full sun in the summer and exposed to cold and snow during the winter.
The deck is structurally sound, but it's not a beautiful looking deck by any means. Not a wood that will look good by enhancing finish.
I have done a really good job cleaning the weathered wood surface with a power washer and ready to begin staining.
Could you please give your opinions and suggestions on what name brand stain to use?
It has been recommended by a SW sales person to go with a solid stain for a better overall finish, and holding up to the UV rays of the direct sun.
