| After finding this forum, I've found the walls should have been sanded prior to fixing cracks and (many) dings. They were previously painted with semi-gloss laytex.
Can I sand now or is it too late? And here I was giving myself a pat on the back for repairing these dang holes so nicely. That'll teach me to gloat! Thanks all for any advice! |

| It's really never too late to sand when it comes to wall painting. I usually don't sand before patching or repairing cracks because I have to sand after patching anyway, so I figure it makes more sense to do the sanding once. |
