Need help with new front door color

I'm going to be getting a new front door and am undecided on color. My current door and shutters have been burgundy for almost 20 years. I'm ready for a change but don't know what color to choose. I have brick on the front of my house that has a pink tone to it and my siding is Wolverine Clay color. I'll be switching from a double door to a single door with two side lites.

I haven't figured out how to post a picture yet but will try to post one soon.

Check out the gallery; I was able to post a picture there.

We are about to have ours painted Sherwin Williams Black Bean SW6006. Our door gets alot of sun so regardless of the color it will fade which is why we chose to go with a very dark color. Also we have red brick and white wood siding in a few spots. Good Luck!

I ended up asking a color coach online (cost $20). She suggested using BM Audobon Russet HC-51 or Copper Mountain AC-12 for the door and New Chestnut AC-6 or Texas Leather AC-3 for the shutters. The door colors are pretty daring for me but I think I'm going to go ahead and try the Audobon Russet. The coach said either of the door colors would tie in with my stonework and make the entry stand out. We'll see! I'm still undecided on the shutters..leaning toward the Texas leather.

houseofclouse - I do like black doors. The black with your red brick and white wood should look great!

I'm really shocked that your color specialist chose Audubon Russet for a house with "pinkish" brick and gray siding.
(I couldn't find your picture in the gallery.)
I would really recommend a more plummy dark brown or black with satin nickel hardware.
Maybe I'm missing something, but gray+pink+rust= not sounding so good to me!

Art Teacher Mom - When I go to the gallery, it's the first posting. The brick has other colors too..an orangish tan..I think. I'm not very good with colors, that's why I'm seeking help. I've bought samples of both the Audubon Russet and the Copper Mountain and put them on the old door. I'm still not totally sold on either. I'll post another picture in the gallery.
