| Hi, I have an unfinished storage area in our basement and it has concrete block walls (that back up to the dirt) and would like to paint them a color. I plan on turning part of this area into a crude exercise room.
Some of the places do, very rarely, get damp.
I would like to know what kind of primer and paint I should get. I plan on painting the place a sunny yellow.

| I use the Zinnser waterproofing paint. No need to prime. Just do two coats. Of course, if you tint it a sunny yellow, it will likely take three or more coats to cover completely. |

| Thank you so much! I'm glad I can skip the priming part. |
