Will concrete paint hold up on wood?

I've got some Behr 1-Part Epoxy Acrylic Concrete and Garage Floor paint. I'd like to paint a wooden stairway (including the treads) with it. Bad idea?

The label says it's for horizontal concrete surfaces. While it doesn't say "Not for use on wood" I'm guessing that it's formulated differently than paint for wood.

I stopped over at both Home Depot and Kelly Moore and was told that the paint should work fine. Then again, I've received some sketchy advice from both places before so who knows.

Thank you for any feedback on this.

Thanks for the reply. I'm curious as to the reasons behind your answer.
