| My daughter's room is light yellow, latex paint. She had decorated using friend's handprints of darker/different colors using acrylic water based paint from Joann's (the little 2 ounce bottles).
I want to repaint a medium beige and will prime and then paint. Should I spot prime over the handprints first in addition to the regular priming or will that make those areas darker and show up more? Thanks! |

| My thought would be to use Kilz to seal the hand prints and then prime as usual. |

| More of an issue is the "raised-profile" the hand-prints will show!! Ideally...you'll "feather-sand" the edges of each print. I'd use a ~100-grit sanding sponge, then remove ALL traces of dust, then prime everything evenly. Id use a better stain-blocker than Kilz! Faron |
