| Hello, Recently I had a professional paint my 100+ yr old random width pine bedroom floor. Too paint stained to stain. This is the same with the downstairs. My question is this: the paint is SW floor paint latex and took over 30 days to stop being sticky sounding when I walked on it. I kept all furniture, people, pets, etc., off the floor for 7 days. It was painted in mid March and the heat was still on.
Should I look for an oil based floor paint or continue with SW latex floor paint for the downstairs? thanks, Carol |

| Too paint call Sherwin Williams. 30 days for latex to dry is highly unusual. Are you sure it's latex? Sounds like too heavily applied oil to me, too paint. |
