Questions about Painting Exterior Metal

We're getting ready to paint some metal above ground pool parts - the top rail and posts. I have some metal primer which I plan to apply with a roller. Would a Whizz roller work well for this? Also, can anyone recommend the best brand of semi-gloss or high gloss paint to use for this application?

I was planning to paint outside but we get a lot of wind. I'm considering covering a spare room with drop cloths and painting indoors to avoid dust particles landing in the paint. Should I put a fan in the window facing outside to get rid of dust?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Putting a fan in the window is going to stir up any dust in the room.
